Introduction:

This two-hour 100% online workshop delivered on Zoom will introduce you to the world of writing creative non-fiction articles, which is a vital source of income for any writer.

It’s aimed at anyone interested in creative writing who are currently writing for pleasure and would like to explore other avenues for creating income from your passion.


You will work through a series of guidelines to help improve the standard of your work, and consider how your writing fits into the commercial industry.

What will I gain?

By the end of the session you will have built confidence in your writing skills and have some new ideas to further pursue writing non-fiction, and have the confidence in approaching an editor.

Tutor Profile: Charlotte Baker is an author and an associate lecturer and PhD student at the University of Derby.

She has an interest in horror, identification, true crime and fandom.

Charlotte has over thirty fiction and non-fiction publications.
