This course is for anyone interested in construction policies, regulations and assessment strategies and the impact they are having on construction technology, the efficient use of resources and the promotion of health and wellbeing.

On this course you’ll learn about sustainability in the context of the construction industry, its environmental impact and the opportunities for building a sustainable future.

What will I gain?

A CPD certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course.

Should the assessment be successfully completed, the course provides 5 NTU undergraduate credits.

Tutor profile:

David Walker is Principal Lecturer in Construction and Course Leader on the BSc (Hons) Level 6 Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship (Quantity Surveyor Pathway).

As a Principal Lecturer, David is responsible for the development and health of a range of undergraduate courses at NTU Mansfield with a strong a focus on the low-carbon skills agenda.

Campus and facilities

You will be based in the School of Architecture, Design and Built Environment on the City Campus.

You will receive an email one week before the course starts with joining instructions on where to go for the first day.

You’ll also have access to our library to use outside of your short course; whilst you can’t reserve or take away books, you are welcome to use them as a resource for research and referencing.

Entry requirements

No previous qualifications or experience is needed to access this course.

No software experience is required, although you should be confident in saving files and basic computer functions.

This course is open to professionals at any stage of their career.

The fee for this course is £1,250.
