There are countless tutorials online for video editing software, but nothing beats having support from a qualified tutor.

Are you a keen video-maker, looking to up-skill in industry leading software? Are you a content creator looking to expand their skills?

If so, this course is for you.

You will be guided through the post-production process, from importing your footage to exporting a polished, professional edit on this practical introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro, the industry-standard software for film, TV, and social media editing.

By the end, you’ll have the confidence to edit dynamic videos, apply effects and sound, and produce content that’s ready to share with the world.

What you’ll study

Premiere Pro is often the go-to software for video editing, from huge Hollywood films to small independent creators. As part of the Adobe creative cloud it integrates seamlessly with Adobe After Effects and other software, with many transferable skills.

This course will guide you through importing footage to final export. Using stock footage supplied by the tutor, you will create a dynamic and engaging video, learning key techniques along the way. This includes cuts, titles, transitions, audio and colour controls.

You’ll leave with a sound knowledge and control of key editing techniques and methods.

The course might open up opportunities for you as a video editor or enhance your CV in digital marketing roles.

During this course, you will:

  • Learn the key tools and features of Premiere Pro for professional video editing.
  • Learn how to edit raw footage into engaging and dynamic content
  • Create simple titles, transitions and animated effects
  • Create shorter form vertical reels from longer form content
  • Export your finished project in multiple formats ready for web, social media, or broadcast.

By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident crafting engaging video edits, enhancing them with effects and audio, and delivering polished, shareable content for any platform.
