Hello, my name’s Shradha Kini and I'm the NTU Country Advisor for Nepal. I’m delighted you’re considering studying with us and I’ll be happy to help answer your questions about applying and studying at NTU.
I travel around Nepal to meet students and their families. We also host social activities for NTU alumni here in Nepal so we’d love to hear from you if you’ve studied at the University.

Entry requirements
The entry requirements for Bachelors and Masters degrees at NTU for student from Nepal are listed below. Select your qualification from the list to see what you need to join a course at the University.
Please note that these entry requirements are guidelines only. If you have questions about your qualification and it is not listed here, please contact us.
If you have achieved a grade average of 50%+ you could study an International Year One courses at Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC).
You could study an Undergraduate course with the following qualifications:
- 3.0 GPA in Grade XII
Please note we would not accept pre 2017 school leaving certificates.
You could study a Postgraduate taught course with the following qualifications:
- 4 or 5 year Bachelor Degree
2:1 - 60%
2:2 - 55% - Bachelor Degree in Medicine/Nursing/Vet Science or LLB
2:1 - 55%
2:2 - 50% - LLB - studied as a 5 year integrated or 3 year postgraduate degree
2:1 - 55%
2:2 - 50%"
To meet the University language requirements you’ll need one of the following:
- an IELTS qualification at the appropriate grade
- alternative English language qualification accepted by the University
Students who do not meet the English language requirements may be required to take a pre-sessional English language (PEAP) course.
Scholarships
We offer prestigious, competitive scholarships of up to 50% to new international and European students. You must have an offer to study a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course with us in 2024 to apply for a scholarship. You'll find all the details and application advice on this page.
