What are the entry requirements for students from Bulgaria?
The entry requirements for Bachelors and Masters degrees at NTU for students from Bulgaria are listed below. Select your qualification from the list to see what you need to join a course at the University.

English language requirements
You’ll need an IELTS qualification at the appropriate grade or an alternative English language qualification accepted by the University.
Students who do not meet the English language requirements may be required to take a pre-sessional English language (PEAP) course.
Offers are made ranging between 4-5.7 depending on the entry criteria of your chosen course. These can be found here and will be stated in UCAS Tariff points.
As a guide we would look for:
- 136 UCAS Tariff points = 6
- 128 UCAS Tariff points = 5.5
- 120 UCAS Tariff points = 5.2
- 112 UCAS Tariff points = 5.0
- 104 UCAS Tariff points = 4.7
- 96 UCAS Tariff points = 4.5
- 88 UCAS Tariff points = 4.2
- 80 UCAS Tariff points = 4

- 4.5 for courses which require 96 UCAS Tariff points
- 4.2 for courses which require 88 UCAS Tariff points
- 4 for courses which require 80 UCAS Tariff points
A minimum mark of 4.5/6 for courses requiring a 2.i 4/6 for courses requiring a 2.ii courses at postgraduate level.
A good grade in a Masters qualification is required for entry onto our research degrees.
