What are the entry requirements for students from Romania?
The entry requirements for Bachelors and Masters degrees at NTU for students from Romania are listed below. Select your qualification from the list to see what you need to join a course at the University.

English language requirements
You’ll need an IELTS qualification at the appropriate grade or an alternative English language qualification accepted by the University.
Students who do not meet the English language requirements may be required to take a pre-sessional English language (PEAP) course.
Offers for undergraduate courses are made depending on the entry criteria of your chosen course. These will be stated in UCAS Tariff points.
As a guide we would look for a minimum of:
- 9/10 for courses which require 128-136 UCAS Tariff points
- 8.5/10 for courses which require 112-120 UCAS Tariff points
- 7.5/10 for courses which require 96-104 UCAS Tariff points
- 7/10 for courses which require 64-88 UCAS Tariff points
- 6.5/10 for courses which require 48-56 UCAS Tariff points
- 8/10 for postgraduate courses requiring a 2.i
- 7/10 for postgraduate courses requiring a 2.ii
A good grade in a Diplomă de Master / Diplomă de Studii Aprofundate / Diplomă de Studii Academice Postuniversitare qualification is required for entry onto our research degrees.
