What are the entry requirements for students from Syria?

The entry requirements for Bachelors and Masters degrees at NTU for students from Syria are listed below. Select your qualification from the list to see what you need to join a course at the University.

If you’ve studied an international qualification please refer to the relevant country page for the entry requirements. For example if you studied the American High School Diploma in Syria you need to check on the USA page.

English language requirements

You’ll need an IELTS qualification at the appropriate grade or an alternative English language qualification accepted by the University.

Students who do not meet the English language requirements may be required to take a pre-sessional English language (PEAP) course.

Foundation certificate or International Year One courses at Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC).

Considered for Bachelor degrees.

Entry onto postgraduate masters degrees:

  • courses requiring a UK 2.1 require Syrian students to have achieved: 70%+ / very good
  • courses requiring a UK 2.2 require Syrian students to have achieved: 60% to 70% / good

Considered for PhD research.
