What are the entry requirements for students from Australia?

The entry requirements for Bachelors and Masters degrees at NTU for students from Australia are listed below. Select your qualification from the list to see what you need to join a course at the University.

English language requirements

You’ll need an IELTS qualification at the appropriate grade or an alternative English language qualification accepted by the University.

Students who do not meet the English language requirements may be required to take a pre-sessional English language (PEAP) course.

Undergraduate (bachelors) degree.

Considered for Year One entry to Bachelors degrees.

Entry requirements vary by course and range from 12-16 points from your 3 Higher Level subjects.

Individual IB certificates can also be considered.

Second or third year entry to selected undergraduate courses if relevant subjects have been studied.

Credit profile or an average score of at least 60%.

Third year entry to selected undergraduate courses if relevant subjects have been studied.

Some courses may require a distinction profile.

Credit profile or above can be considered for Postgraduate (Masters) courses.

Some courses may require a distinction profile.

Considered for Postgraduate research.

I was amazed by how many other international students were here in Nottingham and I had no problems meeting people and making new friends. The whole city is made for students and I've gained a more diverse group of friends here than anywhere else in the world that I've studied.
