International Students Already in UK
If you’re already studying in the UK and interested in coming to NTU you'll find everything you need on this page, including details of our university preparation courses at Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC).
Welcome to NTU
Hello, my name’s Katy Fair and I'm the NTU advisor for international students applying from within the UK. We welcome applications from international (non-EU) and EU students who are already studying in the UK on a range of academic qualifications such as Foundation and pre-Masters courses.
The majority of students progress to us directly from one of our preparation courses at Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC). After NTIC qualifications, the most common qualifications we accept are from the following providers:
- Kaplan International Colleges
- INTO University Partnerships
- Study Group International
- EF University Preparation Abroad
- Cambridge Education Group
- Kings Education
- Abbey DLD Colleges
If you have any questions about studying here please contact me or make an appointment to meet me at one of the UK education exhibitions I visit throughout the year.
If you're a teacher or adviser working with international students in the UK and would like some advice on preparing students for coming to the University, please get in touch.
University preparation courses
Through our partner NTIC we offer university preparation courses (Foundation courses and Pre-Masters courses) that lead to our Bachelors and Masters degrees. The college is on our City campus and as an NTIC student you'll have access to all the facilities, services and social events at NTU.
If you’re interested in applying for a university preparation course you can contact NTIC directly for more information.
If you would like to arrange a visit to NTIC/NTU please contact NTIC student services.
Entry requirements for international students already studying in the UK
We accept a range of UK academic qualifications including A-levels, International Baccalaureate, BTEC, International Foundation programmes and pre-Masters courses from recognised schools, colleges and universities.
Of course, we also accept qualifications from your own country so if you’d like to check those please visit our entry requirements page for your country.
We may also accept the English language exams you have taken as part of your UK qualification. That means you won’t have to take an IELTS test to meet our requirements.
