Overview

Welcome to the Nottingham Trent University Biosciences Scholarship Research Centre! The centre came together with the overall aim of supporting scholarship researchers and promoting scholarly activity within the Biosciences department. By aligning with strategic priorities in both the HE sector and within the field of biosciences, the centre aims to promote both internal and external collaboration between scholarship researchers, to advance our understanding and ideas in these fields. The centre is committed to the professional development of scholarship researchers as experts in their field who can contribute educational development on a national and international level.

The Bioscience Scholarship Research Centre is divided into three themes. These are aimed at developing scholarship activity and outcomes to: be more inclusive and support diverse learners; engage with innovative teaching approaches and technologies; and to provide authentic and engaging learning experiences that contribute to student preparedness for employment.
