University has excellent services for students, kind staff and all facilities are wonderful. There are many accommodation places very near to the university premises. Library is open 24/7 and there are many other students budlings we can access. I chooses this university to study here because the course I am doing is offering the university. And the social life is amazing here in Nottingham. During the different seasons university is more beautiful to see. And whole Nottingham is amazing. Also, There are many stunning places to visit. So, Nottingham Trent University is unique for its education and the easy accessible to every aspect. I recommend any one to come, study and enjoy your stay in Nottingham. Specially, student accommodations, University location, quality education etc.
Amazing courses offered, very thoughtful and thorough and well structured. Social activities are also great and alot of diversity in campus, the staff is very helpful.
I am a Science student, thus study in Clifton Campus. However, I have lived in city and studies in NTIC thus know much about City Campus and Employbility faculty as well. The faculty are good and both tge campus are beautiful and mind refreshing. Clifton is good for its natural beauty and City has variety of people with whom you can connect and be friends with. If wifi considered, sometimes therr is a lag of wifi due to many people using it on the same time, however, its manageable. The refactory in both campuses are the best and is the best place one can make memories as well. In short, I beleive I made a good decision choosing this University.
Ntu has been good experience. The course quality is good
Goes above and beyond to help students with their onward study or placement/graduate jobs.
Lavlay it’s been really good so far the uni shows the actually care about you social academic life plus future career prospects amazing experience
Although the course quality was alright, I believe that a more rigorous vetting process for the students would have improved the learning experience. I believe that more external student support services such as supplemental learning may be better for students to have a better learning experience; especially if the course is a shorter one (~1-2 years)
Applying to Nottingham Trent was one of the best decisions of my life. The vibrant student life on and around campus, the working community within my course (big up architecture) as well as the unparalleled oppurtinites for students seeking success both during and after their studies makes NTU the one for me. Companies often visit our Student Union to host events with chances for networking opportunities - plus freebies! The lecturers here genuinely seem to care about their students. I love it here! There is truly something for everyone in NTU.
First year was a brilliant experience from a social standpoint, meeting new people both in my accommodation and within my course. This of course all came to a quick end when the restrictions were placed on us in March and we were placed into lockdown. Despite this, I was able to make sustainable relationships with people at university that ensured when I returned for my second year, I had a great appetite to get more out of my experience in the second year. During my first year, I found it difficult to adjust to the requirements of university work due to its independent nature. I found my course very difficult to begin with and found it hard to reach out for support, I would certainly say that COVID had a big role to play in this. An improvement in my academic life allowed me to make the most of social opportunities during my final year at university. One thing I would definitely recommend to anyone who is going too university is that you get what you give.
Extremely bad and extremely poor environment that is not good for students.
Studying in Nottingham is not only providing a quality education experience but also a unique life experience, everyone looking after your wellbeing, your supervisors, staff in the department, doctoral school and the rest of the NTU community. Social life is diverse, plenty of options available and would match your taste. It is also a place that pushes you to be creative and get out of your comfort zone. I thought pursuing a PhD was very difficult, but I did not know that the journey becomes more interesting when you do it in an enabling place.
Nice,,, very nice , amazing osm
The NTU is overall good however, being a PhD student I struggle with not having a personalized work space. Moreover, I have my family with me and I also struggled a lot with finding an accommodation as NTU does not provide accommodation to students with families.
Psychology at NTU has exceeded my expectations massively. The course is interesting, and engaging, and coursework doesn’t seem nearly as a drag as it did during A levels. My accommodation is lovely and quiet, but isn’t the right place for me. I would’ve settled in a lot better somewhere in the city centre. As for social life, nottingham is brilliant. There’s so much to do, the nightlife is great, and there’s so many day time activities too.
NTU is an excellent choice for students looking for a fulfilling university experience. NTU offers programs across numerous disciplines, including business, law, arts, engineering, and sciences. I love my university ❤️
This university is located in great locations giving a top-rated student experience. Various support teams to assist student in different areas such as financial, studies, well-being and health. Many workshop programs are provided for our personal development growth. I would definitely recommend this university to everyone!
This is the first module of my Masters in Education and the two staff leading it are excellent. They are extremely knowledgeable, make the sessions interesting and informative, and are also very approachable and supportive. I am very happy that I selected this module as I can see how it will inform and develop my future practice. The Clifton Campus is really nice and modern, there are some lovely walks around the grounds and great food available at Pavilion.
My experience at NTU has always been positive, all my course tutors have always been available to guide me through my learning and the uni as a whole has a great atmosphere with lots of events on such as careers fairs, I would recommend NTU to anybody.
I am happy and looking forward to future developments
Good academic environment to study nice infrastructure excellent staffs
It is very nice university and
Best institution for postgraduate study with state of the art facilities and expert teaching staff in all modules. They have everything necessary to make studying as smoot as possible. They are an award winning university and current modern university of year award holder
Best accommodation in Nottingham
The overall experience is good
I have loved my time here at NTU
Good university for people that are looking for a good career and social life
Great careers advice and student union
The campus buzzes with a vibrant student life, offering a variety of clubs, societies, and events to get involved in.
It’s nice here, I do have a good memories in this past year. Staffs can solve problems more quick as well, peaceful, I think it’s a good choice to live here, cuz location is really great!
a good university, but lacks supporting skills when having a family crisis, also very difficult to make friends when classes constantly change and you have to talk to new students which doesn’t give long enough to make friends so can be quite a lonely university experience.
