Role

Liz Taylor is the Subject Leader for Level 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Management and the Rider Academy coordinator. This means that she’ll be able to support with all aspects of the course, including the opportunity to join the Rider Academy or Grooms Academy, which means students can gain additional qualifications to add to their CV.

I feel very fortunate to teach a subject that I have so much passion for and always have had since childhood. It is a real privilege to be able to pass on the knowledge and experience I have accumulated over the years to the next generation.

The campus and facilities at Brackenhurst are fantastic, but more than that the Equine Team pass on their experiences to the students, as they are all proactive within the wider Equine industry either as judges, competitors or coaches. They can provide the students with excellent career advice and prepare them for industry qualifications such as the British Horse Society Qualifications.

Career overview

Liz is a member of the British Horse Society and British Dressage. She is a British Horse Society Instructor, which is now called a Stage Five Performance Coach in Complete Horsemanship. Liz has also gained a qualification at Level 3 as a dressage coach and as a British Dressage judge (List 3), and have competed up to Intermediate 1 and trained to Grand Prix standard.
