Chris Coffey is responsible for management of Postgraduate Courses within the Construction Management Group.

Chris Coffey teaches law subjects to non-law students including; ELS, EU law, contract, negligence, occupiers liability, nuisance, land law, business law and associated law such as employment law and discrimination law. Particular interests are: health and safety law and regulatory offences, including corporate manslaughter.

Career overview

Beginning his teaching career at Nottingham Trent University in 1994 as a part-time lecture, Chris took on a full-time teaching post in 2003.

Chris is interested in supervising students who want to research the health and safety and corporate social responsibility fields.

Chris Coffey has been a member of a number of validating and revalidating panels operated by the Universities' Centre for Academic Standards and Quality. These panels have validated and revalidated university programmes.
