Chris Coffey is the Course Leader of the MSc Project Management (Construction) and Online MSc Construction Project Management, and is also responsible for management of Postgraduate Courses within the Construction Management Group.

Chris Coffey teaches law subjects to non-law students including; ELS, EU law, contract, negligence, occupiers liability, nuisance, land law, business law and associated law such as employment law and discrimination law. Particular interests are: health and safety law and regulatory offences, including corporate manslaughter.

Career overview

Beginning his teaching career at Nottingham Trent University in 1994 as a part-time lecture, Chris took on a full-time teaching post in 2003.

Chris is interested in supervising students who want to research the health and safety and corporate social responsibility fields.

Chris Coffey has been a member of a number of validating and revalidating panels operated by the Universities' Centre for Academic Standards and Quality. These panels have validated and revalidated university programmes.
