Role
Cathy Bellamy is an Associate Lecturer on Graphic Design and Graphic Communication courses at Nottingham School of Art & Design.
Cathy is the module leader for the optional module Publishing: Experimental Formats, for this she organises the course and assessments, creates content and delivers the 13-week module for year 2 undergraduates.
In addition, Cathy is a personal and academic tutor on the year 1 Fundamentals of Graphic Design module.
On the year 2 module: Exploring the Graphic Design Industry she supports workshops and designs and delivers content to direct and enhance learning.
For the MA in Graphic Communication, Cathy is a personal and academic tutor, she also creates and delivers workshop-based content.
Research areas
Cathy’s particular areas of interest are in Data Visualisation, Experimental Design and Print Production and she is currently undertaking research into data visualisation in the graphic design industry and experimental processes in order to develop and expand teaching and learning in this area.
