Role

Eva is a joint second year tutor for the Decorative Arts course and also assisting across all three years. Eva's specialism is metalwork and 3D digital design, technology and fabrication.

Career overview

Eva has a first degree in mechanical engineering and had been working in the engineering sector for 15 years prior moving into the creative field. In 2016, she graduated from an MFA in Jewellery Design from Edinburgh College of Art and established herself as an art/design practitioner.

Research areas

Eva's research is in the development of her own practice in the field of contemporary design / wearable artefacts. Her practise crosses the boundaries between art, design and technology. She is currently working in developing a new body of work using digital techniques and industrial materials.

External activity

Eva is a practitioner in the field of art and design in the form wearable objects.  Eva exhibits nationally and internationally. Eva has exhibited in Beijing International Jewellery Art Fair, Collect London, Schmuck Munich, Tendence Talents Frankfurt, Enjoia’t Barcelona, CODA Museum Apeldoorn and Qade Art Fair Rotterdam.
