Career overview
Stelios Polychronakis has worked in education for 12 years, both in Greece and in the UK. As a freelancer, he has completed projects in the UK, working in the capacity of Assistant Art Director and Graphic Artist under award winning production designers like Dante Ferretti and Maria Djurkovic. In Greece, he has completed projects in the capacity of Production Designer and Art Director (several short films of fiction & animation, commercials, and events). He is also a classic 2D and stop motion animator, and director of award winning short films The Village and I Do Art.
External activity
Stelios Polychronakis is currently developing a new animated short film that will employ a mixture of digital and traditional animation techniques. He also maintains a personal blog where he writes about film and design-related issues.
