Role

Georgia is a Senior Lecturer in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and co-ordinates the In-sessional English for Academic Purposes (EAP) provision for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the College of Arts and Science (CAS).

Prior to joining NTU, Georgia worked in Italy for three years teaching Business and General English and ran large summer English language programmes in the UK.

As a fully qualified Dramatherapist, she worked for many years with young people with emotional and behavioural disorders, and also supported people with mental health issues and learning disabilities within educational and clinical settings. She also devised and ran in-house corporate training workshops on stress and pressure.

She has a first degree in Drama, a Postgraduate Diploma in Dramatherapy, a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and a Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA).
