Research areas
Personal research in Experimental Practice, looking at the interactions, relationships and meaning between sound and image in digitally rendered environments.
Following on from the British Council Sino-UK Conference (Cultivating Talent in the Creative Industries), Russell is involved in developing a framework for collaboration with the University of Derby and University College Falmouth with Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou and Nanjing University in China.
He is also developing a collaborative framework for the field of Games and Play with Advance, a digital entertainment and theme park developer based in Shenzhen, and Joyland (ccJoy) an animation and games based theme park in Changzhou.
Opportunities to carry out postgraduate research towards an MPhil / PhD in the School of Science and Technology exist and further information may be obtained from the NTU Graduate School.
