Libby Sinclair

Member of the Board of Governors

Role

Libby Sinclair was elected as Nottingham Trent Students’ Union President and began the role in July 2025, following her year as Vice President Education.

During her studies of BA (Hons) Philosophy and Global Studies at NTU, and her time as NTSU History Society Social Secretary, she has consistently advocated for the student experience, working to create opportunities, events, and support tailored to students’ needs.

As President, Libby now leads the Executive Officer team and represents NTU students at the highest levels of the University. She works closely with senior leaders and external organisations to ensure that the voices of all students are heard and valued.

Her overarching aim is to strengthen the student community by driving positive change, enhancing engagement, and ensuring that every student feels supported throughout their time at NTU. Building on her previous role, Libby is committed to advocating for the academic, personal, and social wellbeing of students.
