Role
Adrian has two main roles which are Programme Leader for the MSc in Management (& routes) and Assistant Head of the Department of Management. Adrian been Programme Leader for over a decade, during which time the MSc in Management has grown from circa 20 students to typically around 120 per year across two intakes. He has over seen over 1000 students achieve their Masters in Management from NBS and enjoys the challenge of facilitating the learning journey of primarily international students who are studying management for the first time, in one of the largest Masters awards in the University.
In his role of Assistant Head of Department Adrian works closely with the HoD and liaises with faculty, which involves workload planning, timetabling, supporting staff and Departmental developments, and encouraging research.

External activity
Adrian has been an invited Validation Board member for a number of MBA validations events, most recently at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2016, but previously at Sheffield Hallam University, Birmingham City University and the Polish Open University.
Adrian is external examiner for the MBA awards at Salford University having previously been the MBA external at the University of the West of Scotland.
Adrian has taught summer schools for ITESM in Mexico and undertaken post-graduate recruitment activities in India.
