Role

Angela supports postgraduate student learning by sourcing live consultancy projects with local businesses. Real life consultancy projects have been an integral part of NBS’s postgraduate programmes for over 10 years. Students have successfully acted as free consultants within a wide range of different types and size of organisation.

Career overview

Angela first joined Nottingham Trent University in 2003 working in Nottingham Business School’s Senior Management Support team. On completion of her Master’s Degree she took on an additional HEFCE funded project role in the School, and in 2009 moved to the College of Art, Design and Built Environment (CADBE) to work on the ERDF funded Future Factory project. In 2014 Angela moved to the Services for Business section to work on the Working with you … project, which she successfully managed to completion in 2015. After a short time supporting the CADBE Short Courses she returned to NBS to take up her current position in the postgraduate programmes team.

Prior to working at NTU, Angela worked for several years at the University of Nottingham on a number of EU funded projects, and before that for New College Nottingham, coordinating bespoke language tuition for business. She has also worked in the Education and Employment Strategy Department at Government Office: East Midlands, and as Insurance Underwriting Clerk at Legal & General Assurance.
