Elmina Homapour holds a PhD in Business from the University of Greenwich. Her research interest is in Business Intelligence Systems and Organizational Development. Elmina is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and she is a researcher in the field of Financial Mathematics and Data Analytics. She is a member of the Royal Economics Society (RES), Computational and Financial Econometrics (CFEnetwork) and the Marketing & Consumer Studies RG (MACS) at NTU. She has been working as a lecturer from 2012-2018 at Queen Mary University of London, and CEM Faculty Apprenticeship Lead and Course leader of MSc Data Analytics and MSc Business Intelligence and Data Mining in School of Computer Science and Informatics at De Montfort University, UK. She has worked as an accountant, manager and data analyst in transport and Insurance companies as well as banks. She was selected as the Prominent Young Manufacturer at the Second National Festival of Young Manufacturers by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Representative in Iran in November 2008.
Research areas
Her research interest is in Business Analytics and Organizational Development. She is actively involved in academic delivery at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as the supervision of BSc, MSc and postgraduate research(PhD). She welcomes PhD applications on Business and Marketing Analytics, and Organisational Development.
