Role
Govind’ s main role is to maintain and build on NBS Alumni relationships and recruit new NBS alumni to apply for the NBS Alumni Fellowship. Govind works closely with academics and various internal NTU department to arrange exciting activities so NBS Alumni Fellows can support either students or our academics on a voluntary basis.
Career overview
Govind comes mainly from business development and a sales background. She has a Certificate of Education and has worked predominately in the Further Education sector securing funding by contracting to deliver apprenticeships, vocational training and bespoke training.
External activity
Govind is a member of the Sikh Temple in Nottingham and volunteers her time to support the Guru Nanak Mission, which is offering free food to the local community so they don’t go without food. She also assists with any other duties that are needed to assist in the care of the local community.
