Principal Lecturer in Quantitative Methods
Michael is a Principal Lecturer and Assistant Head of Department for Strategy, Analytics and Innovation.
His role embraces the full range of academic activities including teaching, research and management. He teaches quantitative methods and research methods on undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Michael is an active researcher, specialising in NHS management, sustainable development, and the use of research evidence in policy and decision-making. He is a member of the Business School's Public Policy and Management Research Group.
Career overview
Michael joined Nottingham Business School in 2014. Prior to that he worked in research and management roles in other local universities and in NHS organisations.
