Role

Soheon is a Lecturer in the Marketing division at Nottingham Business School. She teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate at a variety of levels including marketing principles, consumer research and marketing communications. Soheon is also actively involved in research projects.

Career overview

Before joining Nottingham Trent University, Soheon worked in a number of roles in the tourism and hospitality and international trading industries as well as higher education. Soheon also spent three years as a part-time Lecturer at Bournemouth University leading lectures, seminars, workshops and supervising final year student research projects. Also, she worked as a Data Analyst at the Students’ Union of Bournemouth University for three years in support of the organisation’s data-driven activities and decisions.

Soheon studied her double degrees of BBA Tourism Management and BA English Language and Literature at Pukyong National University and also attended Griffith University for a study exchange. She awarded her MSc in Sustainable Tourism Planning from Bournemouth University and studied at IPAG Business School through the Erasmus exchange programme. Following her experiences in teaching and mentoring, Soheon became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
