Prior to join the Nottingham Business School, he has held various academic positions at Leicester Castle Business School, DMU and University of Huddersfield.

Research areas

Yan’s research interests are focused on corporate finance, corporate governance and sustainability and in particular board networks, executive compensation, disclosure, board diversity and CSR.
