Role
As a member of the Collaborations and Partnerships team in the Centre for Academic Development and Quality (CADQ), Caroline seeks to engage with School Quality Managers, course teams and their partners to facilitate the establishment, delivery and development of their collaborative relationships.
Each partnership is unique and so is the Collaboration & Partnerships team’s approach. They work with all stakeholders to understand what support is required to ensure a successful relationship that brings value to all involved.
Caroline’s primary focus is on school based collaborative provision, however the flexible way the team works means she also works with our validated partners and supports wider team development plans as necessary.
Career overview
After starting out in administration Caroline caught the Change Management bug when the organisation she worked for introduced a change programme. From there she became exposed to a range of Facilitation, Project Management, Quality Management, Process Development and Business Excellence models and developed a passion for all things business improvement.
Working in the Oil, Gas & Water Engineering, Car Manufacturing & Events Production industries before diversify her understanding of how Quality Management adapts and applies to a variety of industries. After a brief stint at England Netball which was curtailed by Covid-19, Caroline joined NTU in her current role with the Collaboration & Partnerships team and has really enjoyed the variety the role offers through supporting courses across NTU with a huge range of partners.
In the changing landscape of HE governance she looks forward to seeing how her expertise in process development and facilitation can further enhance the service the Collaboration & Partnerships team offers in guiding and growing our collaborative relationships across the university.
External activity
Caroline is a student member of the Chartered Quality Institute, following Completion of her Certificate and Diploma in Quality management, and is currently in the process of regrading to full membership.
