Role
Charles is an Industry Skills Manager in the Apprenticeship team at NTU and is responsible for the level 6 Healthcare Science (Applied Biomedical Science) Degree Apprenticeship courses. This includes a business development role focusing on the promotion of the apprenticeship standard to employers, plus managing the ongoing relationship with employers once apprentices have commenced their course.
Charles also works on the Grads for D2N2 project which is part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).
Career overview
Prior to joining NTU Charles worked in research science for nearly 10 years and also has a number of years experience in molecular and microbiology as well as plant science and human biology.
