Role

Lee works as an Academic Practice Developer (TILT) within the Centre for Academic Development and Quality (CADQ) . Lee facilitates the TILTOnline platform where colleagues share their practice and scholarly progress and successes. She also supports the Internal Professional Recognition Scheme (AdvanceHE Fellowship), offering advice and workshops for Fellowship applicants. Lee enjoys hearing about the inspiring work of colleagues across NTU and is committed to ensuring their journeys are recognised and celebrated.

Career overview

Lee joined Student Services Disability Support Workers’ Scheme at NTU in 2011, completing her PGCE (2014), before moving to academic skills guidance as Learner Support Coordinator within the School of Social Sciences in 2015. In 2020, she completed her Master’s in Education, with a focus on developing self-efficacy in study and writing skills through conversation and mentoring, culminating in a small qualitative investigation Foregrounding Prior Educational Experiences and Characteristics in Taught Postgraduate Transition: A Case Study Approach. More recently, she contributed to a chapter in the 2023 edition of Foundations in Health and Social Care (Barnard, Calabria and Griffiths, Eds).
