Role

Adrian is the Deputy Course Leader for the Barristers Training Course (BTC).  He teaches extensively on the BTC, covering all modules on the Civil side of the course (Civil Litigation, Civil Advocacy, Drafting, Opinion Writing, Legal Research and Professional Ethics) and is module leader for Civil Advocacy.   Adrian also delivers some teaching on the LPC, primarily on the Commercial Elective and supervises dissertations and research projects on the BTC and LPC.

Career overview

Adrian practised as a solicitor at two major London law firms, specialising in commercial and international litigation and arbitration.  He has worked at Nottingham Law School since 2000, during which time Adrian has taught on and led a wide variety of modules across the BTC and LPC, as well as on various other courses from time to time.  He has been the Deputy Course Leader for the BTC since 2018.
