Role

James joined NLS Legal in September 2022 as a paralegal, assisting the family law service. His work is focused on providing family law advice to clients on matters relating to divorce, separation, financial remedies, private children law matters, and domestic abuse.

James’ main duties include:

  • Assisting the Family Law Solicitor in conducting family cases. This involves interviewing clients, researching, and drafting letters of advice.
  • Assisting with the development of the family law service, including the creation and rollout of virtual internships.
  • Supervising students on research tasks and internal preparatory work.
  • Marketing NLS Legal internally and externally by participating in open days, attending external events and contributing to articles.
