Betty manages and implements the processes associated with the University’s Erasmus+ programme (European Mobility), Erasmus+ grant application and funding for student and staff mobility. She acts as the first point of contact for students and staff support and enquiries relating to Erasmus+ programme and funding until 2023.  Following Brexit, the UK will not participate in the next Erasmus+ programme (2021-27) however there will be a run-out period for the administration of any remaining grant until 2023. Betty will also manage and implement processes associated with the new Turing Scheme, an international scheme which is a national replacement for Erasmus which comes into effect from 2021.

Career overview

Betty joined Nottingham Trent University as student in January 2014 to study her MSc in Management and Finance. In April 2014 she joined the International Office first as Part-time Global Lounge Assistant and then in June 2015 as European Partnership Assistant. She progressed to her current as Erasmus+ Mobility Coordinator role in November 2016.
