Christina Prassa

NTU Global Partnerships Coordinator

NTU Global

Role

I coordinate NTU Global’s activity with international partners, overseeing the evaluation of new business opportunities and supporting colleagues across the Schools with partnership proposals. I manage NTU’s portfolio of legal agreements and global partnerships, ensuring records are accurate, compliant and efficiently maintained. Alongside this, I lead key sustainability initiatives within NTU Global, including the creation of a Sustainability in Practice (SIP) module on Global Mobility and the delivery of the annual carbon‑footprint calculation for all student and staff mobility activity, measuring the emissions generated through international travel across the department. I also contribute to a range of cross‑institutional projects and student experience programmes that strengthen NTU’s global engagement.

Career overview

I joined NTU in April 2020, initially working in the School of Social Sciences as a School Support Administrator before progressing to School Administrator. During this time, I contributed to a range of School activities and led the coordination of incoming and outgoing student exchange, managing workstreams and establishing the supporting administrative processes.

I hold a BA in German Language and Philology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and an MA in Culture, Language, Media from the European University of Flensburg, Germany. I lived and worked in Germany for over two years, gaining experience in the University’s International Office and Communications and Marketing Department, and teaching on the ‘Art & Media’ module for the BA European Cultures and Society. I also created the University’s first official Instagram page to strengthen engagement between home and international students.

Alongside my role at NTU, I contribute to sector‑wide sustainability efforts as a member of the UUKi Climate Action Group and the extended leadership team of the CANIE Accord, supporting the development of more climate‑conscious practice in international education.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, exploring new cultures and learning languages, and have visited 30 countries. I am a native Greek speaker and speak English, German and some Danish. I have participated twice in the Erasmus+ programme, and in 2015 received a scholarship from the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science to study Danish at the Copenhagen Centre for Adult Education (KVUC).
