Role
Craig Strong Course Leader and Senior Lecturer for Sport Science and Management. Craig currently leads the Entrepreneurship module (SPOR30102), supporting final year students to develop their own business venture.
In addition, Craig is the Work placement Supervisor for Sport Science department, supporting current sandwich course students with their placements and to helping 2nd year students to find employment opportunities.
In 2022, Craig successfully achieved his Senior Fellowship for the Higher Education Academy.

Professional, Craig has has worked at NTU for over seven years, previously an Honorarium and Course Leader in HE of Sport at Heart of Worcestershire College; Prior to this he was Marketing Director at Sweet Causes Ltd for five years. He started his career working in the private health and fitness industry.
Craig has invested in several successful UK businesses over the past ten years
Research areas
Craig is nearing completion of his PhD, researching on how Emotional Intelligence in teachers can enhance the delivery of primary Physical Education.
Craig is currently submitting several papers for publication and has presented at a number of conferences. Finally, Craig is a member of the Sport Science and Sociology Research Committee and the sport Science and Equality & Diversity Committee.
