Career overview
Carried out an undergraduate degree in BSc Biomedical Science (Hons) at Nottingham Trent University, and graduated in 2016. As part of this, completed a 3-month placement with Professor S J Forsythe, working on biofilms in neonatal feeding tubes.
Worked as a QC Microbiology Technician at Reckitt, a large international pharmaceutical manufacturing company, from 2016 to 2019.
Joined NTU as a Technician in 2019 working in a Containment Level 2 teaching facility. Promoted to Acting Senior Technician in 2021, and a permanent Senior Technician as of 2022.
