Dr. Filip Nuyens is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology in the Department of Psychology at NTU and a member of the International Gaming Research Unit and the Cyberpsychology Group. His teaching is research-oriented and focuses on cyberpsychology.
Career overview
Filip undertook his Ph.D. in cyberpsychology (i.e., The impact of gaming disorder on time perception) at Nottingham Trent University in 2016 under the supervision of Dr. Mark Griffiths and Dr. Daria Kuss. Following the completion of his thesis, he worked as a lecturer in NTU between 2019 and 2020 and then started working as a Senior Lecturer in 2020.
