Career overview
After finishing his BA Criminology at NTU in 2012, Jordan joined Nottingham City Council as a Community Protection Officer, working as a part of a neighbourhood policing team in for over 4 years providing a visible policing presence and addressing ASB and environmental crimes.
After this, Jordan went on to become a Tasking and Intelligence Officer in Community Protection, contributing to intelligence-led problem solving in Nottingham and to policies and strategies in a partnership policing environment.
Jordan then joined the Criminology and Criminal Justice department at NTU in 2019 having been an Hourly Paid Lecturer since 2015, teaching on a variety of modules across the undergraduate programme and leading the Understanding Crime and Society module in first year.
