Jordan Cashmore is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology and the Course Leader for BA Criminology.

Career overview

Jordan has worked as a Community Protection Officer for Nottingham City Council, providing a visible uniformed presence in local communities and working within a neighbourhood policing team to address antisocial behaviour and environmental crimes. He later became a Tasking and Intelligence Officer, developing strategies, policies, and intelligence profiles to help inform Nottingham’s partnership approach to crime reduction and community safety. Jordan joined the Criminology and Criminal Justice Department at NTU in 2019 and teaches a variety of topics, including organised crimes, drugs, antisocial behaviour, partnership policing, and place-based criminology.
