Career overview

Kirsty held a number of roles at Nottingham Trent University, including Research Associate and L/SL in Criminology and Sociology, prior to her appointment as a Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Criminology in October 2018. Kirsty is currently studying for her doctorate at Nottingham Trent University, which focuses on the rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals with sexual convictions post-release from prison.

External activity

Kirsty is involved in a number of funded research projects in collaboration with colleagues from across the School of Social Sciences. Such projects include evaluating the impact of the gabapentinoid drug policy in prison and evaluating harm reduction initiatives in LGBT+ venues and at music festivals.
