Role

Since joining NTU in 2017, Callum has played a significant role in designing and delivering a high-performance programme, providing opportunities for more students to compete at a higher level and has been key in attracting students from all over the world to join what is an ever-growing tennis offering.

Career overview

Callum is a former national tennis player having also competed at junior ITF event level. Callum has worked in performance coaching for the last 16 years, working in a number of high-performance academies in the East Midlands. Callum has developed a large number of players that have gone on to compete at university level both in the UK and through the US college system.

External activity

Callum is the Director of Project Ten Tennis Academy, which is based at NTU, as well as being the Head Coach at Trent College, a leading independent school in the East Midlands. Callum is also heavily involved in the delivery of the Rothesay Open Nottingham as Ball Crew Manager, as well as at multiple Lexus Challenger events throughout the year. Previously, Callum has been Nottinghamshire Men's County Captain over a six year period.
