Greg is the Head Badminton Coach at NTU. He coaches 3 men's teams and 2 women's teams that compete in BUCS. His role involves creating a high-performance training environment, providing opportunities for each student to achieve their full potential. Greg is also responsible for recruitment and development of the badminton programme.

Greg is the Head Badminton Coach at NTU. He coaches 3 men's teams and 2 women's teams that compete in BUCS. His role involves creating a high-performance training environment, providing opportunities for each student to achieve their full potential. Greg is also responsible for recruitment and development of the badminton programme.

Career overview

Greg has been involved in many coaching roles alongside his playing career. Prior to his role at NTU, Greg was a Regional Performance Centre Coach at various performance centres around the UK (2012 - 2017). Alongside this, Greg has coached a wide range of ages and abilities, ranging from beginners to world top 15 players. Greg graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc Sports Management and MSc in Information Management and Business Technology.

External activity

In addition to coaching at NTU, Greg is a current professional badminton player training full-time in Milton Keynes. Greg has achieved a career high world ranking of 38 (so far) and 3 in England. Some highlights include representing England, winning several international titles, and winning the National Championships in 2020.
Greg and his partner started a YouTube channel (called Badminton Insight) at the beginning of lockdown, creating weekly videos on all things badminton.
