Helping you plan ahead for the Spring Break and end of term updates

Published: 26/03/2021

As we approach the end of Term Two, we hope that you take some time to relax and unwind over the Spring Break so that you come back feeling fresh, ready for the final term of the year.

Travelling over Spring Break

If you are currently living at your term time address you are encouraged to stay there to help stop the spread of COVID-19. However, if you wish to travel for the Spring Break, particularly if you’ve been on campus since the start of term, the Department for Education advises that you should only travel once, before 29 April. International students thinking about returning to their home country over the Spring Break are encouraged to follow the advice published on the UKCISA website.

Any students intending to travel should take a COVID-19 Lateral Flow test before leaving University and again before they return, where testing is available.

Please take some time to understand the Government's phased approach to easing the national lockdown.

Keep active and connected over the Spring Break

Term Two may be coming to an end but there's still plenty going on, from daily workshops on academic skills support hosted by the Library to games afternoons with the Global Lounge team, plus sports and cultural events. There’s lots to get involved with – take a look at what’s going on.

Our Student Support Services team is available for advice on finances, mental wellbeing and more. If you have any questions, please get in touch via our NTU Being on Campus helpline +44 (0)115 848 6060 (and select option 1) or email ntu.beingoncampus@ntu.ac.uk. Please note this phoneline will be closed for Easter from Good Friday, it will reopen on Wednesday 7 April at 8.30 am.
