Useful resources

Expand your knowledge and strengthen your skills through our range of online courses and software, at a time that suits you.

Alongside online resources, all NLS students will also have access to our Employability Team where one-to-one support, both in-person and online, is on offer to help you with job applications and career planning.

Make your experience at NLS count and boost your employability with the NTU Award. This flexible award encompasses all that you do as a student whilst at university (both intra and extra-curricular). Achieve certificates by setting yourself goals, completing activities and reflecting on your personal development.

The benefits

Some of the skills you can gain through utilising these resources are:

  • CV writing techniques
  • Interview techniques
  • IT/Microsoft Office
  • Commercial awareness

With many resources utilising real-world software, you will have the opportunity to build authentic experience to evidence to future employers.

Any questions?

Once your course starts, you will be able to access NOW, NTU's Online Workspace, where you will find more information and directly access resources.

All current students will have access to the resources listed above.

All resources mentioned are completely free to current students and can be accessed on-demand.

Register for graduate support during your final year to secure ongoing access to some of these resources via our dedicated website for graduates.

Graduates who are unable to access our dedicated graduate website should contact  the Graduate Support team.

If you're struggling to access any resources, contact the Employability team to get help.

When you're a Nottingham Law School student you will have access to the MyEmployability online portal offering graduate opportunities, vacancies, careers resources, and exclusive access to a huge range of employers and organisations, all looking to recruit NTU students and graduates.
