Virtual Augmented Reality facility
Step inside immersive environments where mathematical ideas take shape around you. Using pure VR options like the Quest 3, mixed options like the Vive Focus and full AR options like the HoloLens 2, we are able to provide portable mixed realities, even beyond the hub itself. The goal is to help you visualise complex functions, explore vector fields in 3D and consider adding higher dimensionality to your graphing.
Maths hub
The Maths Hub is the heart of student collaboration. It’s a place to explore ideas, work through problems together and connect with other maths enthusiasts. Equipped with a 3D printer, dedicated PCs for Mathematics students and a state-of-the-art Lightboard for shared working. The flexible layout is designed to support group problem solving, creative experimentation and peer learning. Whether preparing for classes or building confidence with new concepts, it’s a space that inspires deeper understanding and teamwork.
