Why NTU…

Why did you choose NTU and your course?

I chose NTU over other universities that also run the course due to the practical emphasis placed on the modules and its focus on employability. NTU and the Real Estate MSc excelled in delivering these, providing projects that is relevant to the professional world and exposing its students to industry professionals throughout the course.

What were your motivations to choose Postgraduate study?

Choosing to study a postgraduate course allowed me to specialise in the profession I am wanting to enter and has provided me with the relevant skills, knowledge and accreditations to transition from education into the profession.

What have been your highlights of your course?

The trip to New York associated with the Professional Practice module has been a highlight of the course. Being able to see how the property market operates in a different course really widened my perspective of the industry. The trip included a development project based on a building in the city, helping us gain greater awareness of issues in the market, with flights and accommodation paid for by the university. Not only was the trip very insightful, it allowed me to explore an amazing city on a different continent.

How has your journey and what you have learnt contributed to your career so far?

My journey throughout the course has brought me up to the speed and standard necessary before entering the industry. The course is highly regarded by the prominent firms and helped me receive multiple offers.

What advice would you give to someone applying or looking at studying a course at ADBE and NTU?

Definitely get in touch with the lecturers, they will be more than happy to let you know more about the course and answer any questions you may have. They go above and beyond to support their students and are an integral part of the success of the Real Estate MSc.
