More about Amber
"Staying in Nottingham to do my MA seemed very natural. I already knew what great facilities the School had and I had a good relationship with the staff, which allowed me to get stuck into my MA really quickly. I was also offered a Paul Smith bursary which was a great help.
"I really enjoyed the diversity of all the different students. Having our dedicated space, the MA studio, to work in was great too. Everyone’s work was exciting and unique and being surrounded by such a varied creative community everyday was inspiring.
"The range of facilities at NTU is great. Working with woven textiles and glass I was based in the weave workshops and glass studios, but I made use of the many other facilities the University offers. This included the photography studios, resin workshop, the wood and metal workshops and the dye lab. In each facility I found that the technical staff were always willing to help you and share their knowledge.
"NTU is a very lively university. Especially being based in the School of Art & Design with other Art and Design courses, there is a real creative buzz. I would definitely recommend this course; it is a challenging and intense year which gives you the freedom to develop your work with the support and advice of specialists."
