"I chose to study Photography at NTU for a variety of reasons. Firstly, my teacher in China recommended NTU to me and after doing my own research online I was made aware of the School of Art & Design's impressive reputation. After visiting other universities I felt the course here was the most suitable for me.

"One of the best things about the course is the mixture between home and international students as it has allowed me to make lots of new friends. The course has also provided me with lots of opportunities and I really enjoy listening to the industry guest speakers who come in every Thursday.

"I have regular contact with the teaching staff who are all very friendly. They give great advice and are always suggesting interesting books to read which help me to broaden my photography knowledge.

"In comparison to China, the architecture of the buildings in Nottingham is very different, which I find inspiring for my own photography opportunities. The central location of the city within the UK is great as it makes it very easy to visit London, where I have visited many exhibitions."
