Why NTU…

Why did you decide to do postgraduate study?

I wanted a career change, and while I had a lot of developmental opportunities in my career, getting a master’s seems like a powerful step forward.

Why did you choose your course and NTU?

I choose Nottingham first, the city is lively and steeped in history, and from that decision, choosing NTU was easy, as it offered the best program in Museum and Heritage, and is a short train trip away from multiple historical cities and heritage sites.

What do you enjoy most about your course at NTU?

The teachers are knowledgeable in both the history and the latest trends and techniques of the Museum and Heritage sector. The focus on global and critical issues of the sector offer an opportunity to widen my horizons.

What did you think about the course staff – include lecturers, tutors, administrators and technical staff within this. How did they support your learning and University experience?

Professional, Knowledgeable and Passionate about teaching and guiding. I always felt that I am equipped with the tools I need to face the challenges I faced.

What did you think about the facilities available to you?

The Library in particular is an amazing building that offers a lot; study areas, knowledge in almost every subject, tutors and even books for leisure reading and relaxing after a long lecture.

Why would you recommend your course / NTU to someone looking to study in that area?

Amazing city, amazing staff, and an amazing learning experience.

As an international student...

Why did you want to study in the UK?

I am a big fan of the history and heritage of the country.

Is NTU a good place for international students to study?

It is, Nottingham is a diverse city that offers a lot.

What advice would you give to help new international students get settled in at university?

Find the time to visit the historical and natural sites, visit Nottingham castle, Wollaton hall and deer park and take a walk along the Trent.

What did you think of the support available from tutors and staff at NTU?

It was great, it was easy to find available tutors based on my schedule, the facilities are always ready to use and in great shape.
