Tell us why you chose to study abroad, and why you chose NTU?

“I chose to study abroad because I believe the education system in the UK is flexible, and I enjoy exploring British culture through my experience here. Also, NTU is well known for its media degrees, and Nottingham is a good place to study in. I have spent the best four years of my life in Nottingham and I’ve enjoyed my journey at NTU.”

What modules/topics/projects have you particularly enjoyed/found useful?

“I really enjoyed the Researching Politics and International Relations module in my second year; it was interesting, and our module leader Dr Natalie Martin is an outstanding tutor. In addition, I found The Body and Popular Culture to be a rewarding module in my third year.”

How does the way you study at NTU differ from your previous experience of studying?

“NTU is more flexible and self-determined compared with my study experiences before. The facilities at NTU are outstanding and helped me a lot.”

How do you feel that you have grown personally as well as academically at NTU?

“As I mentioned before, I spent my best four years in Nottingham, and NTU helped me to grow up from a child to a young adult.”

When you first came, did you feel welcomed?

“Yes, I felt the students and staff at NTU were nice during Welcome Week.”

In what way are you supported by the academic staff in your faculty?

“Academic staff at NTU are all really helpful.”

What do you enjoy most about living in Nottingham?

“The fact that there are many international students in Nottingham, and the local residents are nice.”
