Why did you decide to do postgraduate study?

“Deciding to do a postgraduate course has been one of the best things I could have done with my time after completing my degree in Fashion Marketing & Branding. I decided to undertake the Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship postgraduate course to help start my own business. But further to this, I wanted to expand my network of connections and work with likeminded, determined individuals.”

What made you choose NTU? 

“Having completed my undergraduate degree at NTU, I didn’t want to look elsewhere. I had experienced 3 years of being at the university and loved every aspect of it. I believe NTU is a great university, providing students with endless opportunities to gain industry contacts and to place the theory learnt into a practical setting. It is an incredibly supportive university, even after you have graduated.”

What do you enjoy most about your course at NTU? 

“The opportunities available to meet industry experts, alongside the endless support and advice on offer.”

What do you think about the course staff? How do they support your learning and University experience?

“The course staff have been extremely welcoming and supportive. They are very encouraging and have hugely benefited me and my learning through-out my studies. They are not afraid to challenge your thinking and push you beyond your boundaries. The constant communication, feedback and support on offer has been hugely beneficial and I have felt comfortable approaching them about pretty much anything!”

What do you think about the facilities available to you?

“Having experienced both the Art & Design department and the Business School, I believe I have had the opportunity to take full advantage of the endless list of facilities on offer. I would say the facilities around campus are easy to access, up-to-date and very comfortable.”

Why would you recommend your course / NTU to someone looking to study in that area?

“The course has provided the perfect mix of academic theory and hands on experience. It has helped develop my confidence in business and being an entrepreneur whilst improving my skills and capabilities to lead my own business start-up. Lastly, the amount of guest speakers and opportunities to network has been endless, not to be missed!”

Have you taken up any opportunities offered by NBS? How has this contributed to your university experience? 

“NBS provide opportunities to attend talks given by a number of diverse, interesting guest speakers which are not to be missed!”
