What inspired you to choose your course?

"I chose to study FdA Criminal Justice because I have always been passionate about the criminal justice system. I want to help to bring justice to people and have a passion for crime and understanding the root of why people commit crimes.."

How is this course contributing to your personal or career goals?

"This course will allow me to pursue a variety of jobs within the criminal justice system as well as provide me with valuable knowledge."

What attracted you to study at the Mansfield Hub?

"The smaller amount of people on each course allows for closer-knit groups and more one-to-one teaching."

What do you hope to gain or achieve by being part of the NTU Mansfield community?

"A good career path and excellent grades throughout the degree. The Mansfield Hub also allows for good relationships with other students and teaching staff."

What distinguishes the Mansfield Hub from other study locations or campuses?

"More one-to-one teaching, being able to ask questions more regularly and a good timetable which allows me to study around other commitments."

Could you share any experiences or interactions at the Mansfield Hub that have been particularly impactful for you?

"All of the important interactions that I have had are based around the extraordinary support teaching staff provide to students. It is second to none."

Why did you choose to apply to NTU Mansfield through clearing?

"The course stood out to me when visiting for an open day as well as wanting to experience living away from home."

How did you secure a place on your course through clearing?

"By calling the university directly and explaining the circumstances. Staff were very attentive and calming during the process which made it a lot easier."

What advice would you give to anyone applying through clearing?

"Don’t be scared to give it a go and be outside of your comfort zone. Going through clearing can be a disheartening experience for many but it definitely works out in the end."
